How does a dirty air / dust filter effect the airflow and influence thermal capacity of a NetShelter CX cabinet?

Issue:
Dirty air/dust filters can negatively effect airflow.

Product Line:
NetShelter CX

Environment:
All versions and serial ranges.

Cause:
Dirty air / dust filter, needs cleaning.

Resolution:
When a NetShelter CX is fitted with a set of dust filters it is expected that the airflow will be reduced by 3%. This will have very little effect on the thermal capacity of the cabinet.
But, if the amount of dust collected by a set of filters is greater than 0.8 grams on a AR4018 or AR4024-series or 1.6 grams on a AR4038-series, then the thermal capacity will be reduced by at least 10 %.
To avoid this it's recommended that dust filter is cleaned at regular intervals.
