Why there is mentioned Insulation level of DC (Ui) on the circuit breaker while we are using the breaker on AC power supply, like in NSX series Ui = 800V ?
Please find the following:
The Ui: Rated insulation voltage and Uimp: Rated impulses withstand voltage
It is the same like the CB tested according the IEC60947-2 which is given under Dielectric tests.
However for routine test only dielectric test at 50 Hz, required, the voltage depends on the Ui:
300< Ui < 690V: 2500V
690< Ui <800V: 3000V
800< Ui <1000V: 3500V.
