The lifetime of Varplus² capacitors is more than 100,000 hours in respected conditions. But it should be noted that the lifetime of the capacitor greatly depends on the external constraints applied. For example:
- Temperature (an increase of 7°C of the environmental temperature divides the lifetime by 2)
- Presence of harmonics greatly affects the lifetime of the capacitor.
