Kindly be informed that in most common the motor protection Circuit breaker is always used for short circuit protection only. The fuse units protect against short circuit current also, but the main advantage for using MPCB is that it maintains the continuity and the sustainability of the supply and can be used for protection for a large number of operations according to the endurance and the reliability of the MPCB , rather than the fuse units that is used one time for short circuit and then needs to be replaced.
