The SCF fault can happen due to below reasons,
1. Short-circuit or grounding at the drive output due to motor or cable short circuit, cable damage etc...
2. Significant Ground Leakage current at the drive output if several motors are connected in parallel.
3. The drive IGBT short circuit (drive failure)
