How to size current transformers used with Sepam ?
Current transformers are sized so as not to be saturated by the current values they
are required to measure accurately (minimum 5 In).
For overcurrent protection functions
are required to measure accurately (minimum 5 In).
For overcurrent protection functions
- with DT tripping curve: the saturation current must be 1.5 times greater than the setting
- with IDMT tripping curve: the saturation current must be 1.5 times greater than the highest working value on the curve.
