How to reduce starting current in ATS22?
Starting current is set into soft starter based on type of application and load demand.
Current can be limited from ILt from 200 : 700 % In (Motor rated current) and default value is 350%.
Also, decreasing ACC (Acceleration time) to shorten the period of starting.

Note:

Proper fine-tuning of the starting current (ILt) setting has to be done during commissioning.
Normally the soft starter will work without any problem with current limit setting between 200% to 450% for different application starting torque requirement.
For example : for compressor application starting current received is approx. 3 to 4 times the rated motor current.
