Video: How to Generate Diagnostics file in PME?

To generate diagnostic file, please follow the steps below:

-Go inside the “Diagnostics Tool” folder (for example: C:\Program Files(x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\Diagnostics Tool).

-Right click ‘Diagnostic Tools’ (a white wrench icon against green background) and select ‘Run as Administrator’.

-In the ‘Product Selection’ drop down menu bar, select Power Monitoring Expert 9.0 "or your current version if it's not PME 9.0"

-Many fields are checked by default on your right; please leave them as they are. Check following extra boxes on your right

A)ION_Data Archive
B)ION_Network backup
C)ApplicationModules Backup
D)Licensing Configuration

"If the technical support asked you for an extra fields to check, please add those fields also"

-Check the ‘Compress package’ box and specify the location of the compressed output file (by default, the box is checked and the default location of the output file is desktop).

-Hit ‘Start Analysis’, this will trigger the generation of diagnostic file.

-Once completed, the hyperlink of the generated zip file (with .cab extension) will appear at the bottom of the window.

The default location for the output file is desktop.

Typical Diagnostics file size is about "16-28" MB approximately.
