Cause
Maintenance operations on larger database make take some time to complete and can also become 'stuck'. Monitoring
the progress of these operations can be useful when troubleshooting and/or estimating the time to completion for what may be system
impacting maintenance procedures.
Resolution
*Warning: Irreparable database damage can occur. This procedure should only be performed by users familiar with SQL Server Management Studio. Databases should be backed up prior to performing this procedure.*
To retrieve the database maintenance progress information from the current SQL Server installation, log into SQL Server Management Studio
and run the attached SQL script (Mnt_Progress.sql).
