For Switch disconnector, can I use 3P+N instead of 4P since both doesn’t provide protection for neutral pole?
Issue: Can I install the neutral conductor on any pole?
Environment: iSW Switch disconnector.
Resolution: For switch-disconnector iSW-NA ref. A9S70xxx, products are 1P+N or 3P+N. According to IEC 60947-1 std §7.1.9, Neutral pole identified by letter N (left side pole of the product) closes before and open after the Phases poles. This is to guarantee preventing floating voltages in 3P+N network.
