Can you explain how VIP3xx relay work with VAP6 test box ?
Issue :
VIP3xx relay work with VAP6 test box

Environment/Product line:
VIP 300 relays

Resolution :
Basic concept is any trip testing with the VIP300 should be done with the VAP6 test box
and VIP300 uses a MITOP output to send tripping commands.

VIP300 MITOP output is a capacitor. This is supposed to be connected to a small coil which has enough energy to trigger a small mechanical switch which then triggers a CB Trip operation.
The MITOP output should not be used as a Trip Contact like what you would find on a Sepam 20 relay (example :O1 output)

Since it is a microprocessor-based relay, testing with a VAP6 box should be sufficient. As long as the relay trips when you follow the procedure in the manual,
there is not really any need to perform "tripping delay" tests.
