The EcoStruxure Automation Device Maintenance can be used to update the firmware of Modicon M340 / Modicon M580 CPUs and x80 Modules using the .ldx files. In this case, the EcoStruxure Automation Device Maintenance requires a Firmware Password.
- If the application has no password: enter the firmware password (default or configured).
- If the application has a password: enter both the application password and the firmware password (default or configured)
- If there is no application in the controller, enter the firmware password (default or configured).
The default firmware password is fwdownload
