The ASCO 5300 Series enable facility, engineering and maintenance personnel to visually check the status of automatic transfer switches and conduct testing. Locating the annunciator in work areas allows personnel to know the status of transfer switches simply by glancing at the bright green and red LED indicators.
Power Requirement, wiring and installation

Wiring Requirement:
The ASCO ATS Remote Annunciator can be panel mounted or attached to an electrical or masonry gang box.
Communication Wiring:
The communication wiring and ac power wiring must be isolated.

Power requirement options:
- 24V DC supply or
- 120/220V AC supply
Wiring Requirement:
- The power terminals accept 30 to 12 AWG stranded flexible wire.
- If the power wiring is solid wire, pigtail it with stranded flexible wiring to the ATS Remote Annunciator.
- Tightening torque for the power terminals is 5 in-lb.
The ASCO ATS Remote Annunciator can be panel mounted or attached to an electrical or masonry gang box.

- Surface mount
Communication Wiring:
The communication wiring and ac power wiring must be isolated.
- Use Belden 1583A cable or
- equivalent UTP CAT 5e or CAT 6 with RJ-45 connectors (untwisted pair or higher)
- Two (2) Ethernet ports are available that can be connected to the network or directly to the ATS QEM.
- Two 10/100 Base-T (RJ-45) Ethernet ports
- Half/Full duplex capability
