Ecostruxure Process Expert [2020R2] Naming Philosophy for Citect Libraries while importing to Ecostruxure Process Expert.
This document explains User about the Naming philosophy to be followed for Citect libraries while importing them to Ecostruxure Process Expert.
The rule is that the name of Citect/plantScada.ctz files which contains libraries shall not started with a number. If User tries to import the Citect/plantScada.ctz file starting with Number (ex: 2Ext_Lib), then the import will be successful, but the User is not able to instantiate the template which contains this imported Genie. User may face the below shown error while instantiating the corresponding template.
For resolving this issue, user needs to rename the library (without a number as starting character) and re-import into the Global template Editor. Relink the Genies to the new imported one.
Ecostruxure Process Expert does not restrict the user while importing the Citect/PlantScada libraries which start with numbers. Therefore users need to take care about Naming philosophy of Citect libraries while importing to Ecostruxure Process Expert.
