Care must be exercised in moving and transporting ASCO Power Transfer Switches. Permanent damage to the connectors, guides, and frame can occur if improperly moved, voiding the ASCO warranty. A professional rigging company should be employed to move or transport a transfer switch.
All ASCO Power Transfer Switches shall be in the upright position when transported via truck, train, boat, or airplane. Transfer switches cannot be transported in any other orientation.
The following tables provide guidelines on moving ASCO Power Transfer Switches once they reach their destination. The tables are applicable to UL Type 1 enclosures and open configurations only; all other enclosures must be moved in the upright position.

If unsure, contact Technical Support at 1-800-800-ASCO or send an email to technicalsupport@ascopower.com
