How do I remove Control Terminals on Altivar Process Drive?
Issue:
How do I install control wiring on ATV630 and ATV930 drives?

Product Line:
Altivar 600, Altivar 900

Environment:
All

Cause:
NA

Resolution:
Remove Conduit Box cover from VFD if present on the VFD. There are 4 screws that hold the front cover down. A Phiillips Screwdriver is needed to remove the cover.

On ATV630 drives, the Control Terminal Card is not removeable, but individual terminal blocks are. So, using a flat head screwdriver, slight push on the terminal block away from VFD to remove the terminals.

On ATV930, however, the whole Control Terminal card is removable but not individual terminal blocks.
There is a screw on the right-hand side of the Terminal card that holds it in place.
Therefore, using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew it and slide the Terminal card out.
