What is the difference between an ATV71/61 drive that ends with a N4 compared to a N4D?
Issue:
What is the difference between an ATV71 drive that ends with a N4 compared to a N4D?

Product Line:
ALTIVAR 61, ALTIVAR 71

Environment:
All

Cause:
Ordering a drive with or without a choke

Resolution:
Ordering a drive with a D suffix ensures that the drive does not ship with a DC Choke.  A line reactor or a DC choke is necessary for drives rated at  and above 125HP at 460V.
ATV61HD90N4 thru ATV61HC63N4 will off this option to add the D suffix.
