For a Quantum 140NOC78x00 with firmware versions equal to or greater than 1.70, the TTL (Time To Live) for Point to Point EIP communications through routers, is 64.
The TTL remains at 1 for Multicast EIP communications.
If a TTL greater than 1 is required for Point to Point EIP communications, then upgrade the 140NOC78x00 firmware to version 1.70 or higher.
