Video: How to export a user created Toolchest folder in Vijeo Designer?
Issue:
Looking for a way to move a toolchest object from one PC to another PC without sending the entire project file.

Product Line:
Vijeo Designer (all versions)

Resolution:
If you have created objects in your "User" Toolchest folder, it is possible to export the folder to share/use on another person's computer.

Simply follow the procedure below:

1) Right-click on the "User" folder (or any folder that you have created" in the Toolchest.
2) Select "Export" in the menu that appears.
3) Choose a location to save the resulting .ztc file.
4) Share this file with a colleague or customer.
5) Have them Right-click on the "Favorites" folder in the Toolchest.
6) Select "Import" in the menu that appears.

That's it! Now all the objects in the folder can be dragged on to the panel of any new or existing project.
