Can I trigger the logic inputs of an ATS22XXXS6 soft starter with an external +24VDC supply?

Issue:
Logic input of the ATS22xxxS6 soft starters triggered by an external +24VDC power supply.

All "S6" models (Not S6U), All serial numbers.

Cause:
Information unavailable / unclear in current literature.

Resolution:
Yes, it is possible to trigger the logic inputs of the "S6" version of the ATS22 series soft starters with an external +24VDC power supply.  It is necessary to connect the common of the external power supply to the common terminal on the ATS22 soft starter.   If this connection is not made, the ATS22 will not start, or will not start reliably.
