Will profinet cummunication work for downstream devices if subjected device (ATV+VW3A3627) connected to profinet via daisy chain architecture is switched off ?
If a device in dasiy chain arcitecture (profinet, ethernet) is switched off, all the other devices downstream the subjected drive will loose communication unless ring topology is arranged.
Profinet or ethernet communication is not transferred from left RJ45 port to the right RJ45 port (or opposite) on profinet or ethernet card if the drive where profinet card is inserted to is not supplied.
To make profinet or ethernet network alwasy work we propose external 24V supply for all drives in daisy chain.
