Does the BMXDDI1602 have the same current state 0 guaranteed than BMXDDI3202K?
Issue
The IEC61131-2  standard  defined the IEC Type and this standard is used by Schneider Electric's PLC products. The 16 inputs and 32 inputs x80 modules (BMXDDI1602 and BMXDDI3202K respectively) are compliance this standard and each module have an specific type that determines the current state 0 guaranteed. This FAQ shows the right value to be used by the customer while doing specification of devices to be connected on these modules.

Resolution
The IEC61131-2  standard  defined the IEC Type and this standard is used by Schneider Electric's PLC products. The BMXDDI1602 is compliance with IEC61131-2 Type 3 and the current at state 0 is < 1.5mA as described on the documentation of Control Expert v14.0.


The BMXDDI3202K is compliance with IEC61131-2 Type 1 and the current at state 0 is < 0.5mA as described on the documentation of Control Expert v14.0.
