Why do I get the error "Vijeo-frame could not create the automation document" when I launch Vijeo Designer?

Upon completing the installation of Vijeo Designer, the software is unable to launch. The green splash screen stays on the screen and behind it, there is an error stating "Could no create the automation document".

The Vijeo Designer version 6.2 installation program did not properly run the secondary/background processes to register the .dll files to the Windows operating system. This typically occurs when Windows require elevated administrator privelages to install software.

To resolve this issue, the simplest thing to do is to uninstall Vijeo Designer first. Then upon re-installing the software, make sure you find the Setup.exe file and right-click on it to select "Run As Administrator".

This will give the installation package elevated administrator privelages to properly install the software.
