What can cause the ATV680 enclosed drive to trip on a AFE contact feedback or CRF3 fault?
Published date:
27 August 2020
Issue:
ATV680 enclosed drive to trip on a AFE contact feedback or CRF3 fault causes.
Product Line:
Altivar ATV680 drive
Environment:
All
Cause:
AFE units are missing the feedback from the line contactors not pulling in.
Resolution:
Check 230vac on the X100 terminals all ok
Check 230vac on the X110 two terminals all good
Check 230vac on the X100 terminal pin 15 and 19 all good 230vac to 0V
Start drive and see that we are not getting any voltage from the AFE unit back to X100 pins 16 and 5 so the K51 relay is not pulling in to allow mains voltage to the AFE.
Turned off power and reseat all of the X100 and X110 terminals
Set up the motor control to Go and Stop function
