Why does printing from the HMI stop working after some time?

Issue:
After a period of time, the Magelis HMI will stop outputting to the printer.

Vijeo Designer

Resolution:
It is possible that the HP printer is not configured properly. On the HP printer configuration page, there can be a radio button to append a carriage return to each line feed. Ensure this is enabled to ensure continous printing with your Magelis HMI.
