What is an INF27 (internal error 27) on an ATV630 drive?

Principle:The selftest of the internal CPLD has detected an error.
Probable cause:Internal CPLD error
Remedies:
  • Remove any existing connections made on the VFD 24V supply terminal. Power cycle VFD. If applicable, update firmware of the VFD to the latest version.
Possible causes
  • The communication cable connected to the Modbus port, or any other fieldbus port has been damaged (Example: Modbus Cable to the HMI or door mounting kit) - Disconnect the cable and check if the error disappears.
