PME - How to set a default diagram for a custom device type
Issue
A device with a custom device type doesn't open a diagram, or opens the incorrect diagram, when navigating to it in the Web Applications Diagrams tab or the Vista network diagram.

This example procedure is for a custom device type called EI DMMS 300.
1. Open File Explorer and navigate to ...\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\config\diagrams\ud\default.
2. Open the folder for the custom diagram you want to link.
3. Copy the name of the main diagram file. In this example, it's EI_DMMS_300_V1.1.0:
4. In File Explorer, navigate to ...\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\config\translators.
5. Open the .ion file for the custom device type using Notepad. In this example, it's the EI_DMMS_300.ion file:
6. Paste the diagram name in the value under the FAC1 Template, FAC1 Revision, and FAC1 SerialNum sections:
7. Save the .ion file in Notepad.
8. Open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\(version number)\DeviceInfo
9. Expand the registry key for the device type.
10. Select the Default Firmware registry key, then double-click on DefaultVoltsMode in the right pane.
11. Paste the diagram name into the Value data field. In this example, it would be EI_DMMS_300_V1.1.0:
12. Click OK.
13. Delete the TemplateStrings and any other registry keys under the device type if they exist. The only registry key should be DefaultFirmware:
