How to Configure a READ_VAR function block for Ethernet TCP/IP communication used with the ETG100

Issue
How to Configure a READ_VAR function block for Ethernet TCP/IP communication used with the ETG100.

Product Line
All ETY modules and Premium Co-Pro PLC's with the onboard Ethernet port.

Environment
Windows 7

Resolution
The PLC address is defined as ...... ADDR#{1.101}0.0.0.1 for a Premium TSX 572623 PLC
using the onboard Ethernet port (The address is defined in the format of ADDR#(n.s.)m.ch.d
for a READ_VAR block). The variable

'n' is the XWAY network number,
's' is the XWAY station number.
'd' is the UNI_TELWAY destination number on the Premium PLC.
'ch' is the module channel number for the ETY port. (This is always 0 for the ETY modules)
'm' is the slot position that the ETY module or port is located in.

The XWAY address is defined as 1.101. This address is also defined in the Premium PLC's ETY
configiuration for the XWAY addressing table as shown below. The reason why the XWAY
station address is defined as 101 is because the Modbus device's (i.e., ATV71, etc.) address is
configured as 1. Therefore, the XWAY address must be defined as 1.101. (For a remote station
configured with the Modbus protocol, it is necessary to define the X-Way station address as being
equal to the local Modbus address number plus 100.)
