How do I connect a potentiometer on the RE7TM, TP, MA, RA, RM, PP, PM,ML or MY time delay relays?

Please note that this range is no longer available - this FAQ is for reference only. For the same functions the suggestion would be to use a Zelio Logic or similar controller.

When using RE7 TM, TP, MA, RA, RM, PP, PM,ML or MY relays with time delay adjustment potentiometers, the potentiometers must be connected in the following way:

  • The opposite ends of the potentiometer should be connected to Z1 and Z2
  • Wire the potentiometer wiper to Z2

The specification of potentiometers to be used for RE7 relays is as follows:
47kΩ, Linear, 0.2W or greater.
