What is the difference between Impulse relays and contactors?
Impulse relays need a pulse to energise the load, and another impulse to de-energise the load.

A contactor energises the load while applying a constant voltage and when this voltage is removed the circuit opens (this is true for Normally open contactors, Normally closed contactors work the opposite way around)

Contactors also have larger current ratings up to 100A in the Acti9 range whereas the impulse relays are typically 16/32A
