How can we help you today?
Do the GS1 or GS2 disconnect switches come with fuses?
No. The reason for this is that the fuse is selected based on the application. E.g.:
  • fast-acting semi-conductor fuses for electronic loads
  • aM fuses for motor loads
  • gG or gL fuses for electrical resistor loads

Also, these fuses may be available with or without a striker.

The Schneider Electric catalogue specifies the aM and gG fuses to be used with GS1 and GS2 type switches.

Caution:

Schneider do not sell fast-acting semi-conductor fuses or fuses with a striker for these switches, it is therefore necessary to check directly with the fuse manufacturer (Ferraz, Bussmann, etc.) whether their fuses are suitable for use in the GS1 or GS2 switches.
