Issue:
There is an error at the bottom of the screen stating "Invalid Reference Variable"
Product Line:
Vijeo Designer, Magelis HMI (XBTG, XBTGT, HMISTU, HMISTO, HMIGTO, HMIGTU, HMIGK, XBTGH, iPC)
Resolution:
The Magelis HMI will show the error "Invalid Reference variable" when there is a reference made to a non-existent variable. To use reference variables properly, you must ensure all the variables that your reference variable looks for exist. Otherwise, the error will appear.
To correct the error, ensure that the variable the error indicates exists in your variable list in Vijeo Designer.
