SCADAPack E DNP3 Peer to Peer Communication Programming Example

In a typical DNP3 SCADA system, remote outstations are polled by the SCADA host for data via Class and Integrity polls. In instances where one RTU may need to communicate to another RTU, peer to peer communication is used. This SCADAPack Workbench CAM5 example program/configuration will demonstrate peer to peer messaging on SCADAPack E. Please be aware that not all DNP3 outstations support peer messaging. If you have concerns the device that the SCADAPack E is trying to communicate supports peer messaging or not, consult the vendors DNP3 device profile. The SCADAPack E is a level 4 DNP3 device - Peer to peer messaging is supported.

These sample programs are intended to demonstrate one or more programming functions or methods and are presented as programming examples only. Schneider Electric assumes no liability for the use or application of these example programs or any portion thereof.
