Are the iCT range of contactors suitable for motor control applications?

Some of the iCT range of contactors are suitable for motor applications.

They have a Utilization category AC-7a and AC-7b conforming to IEC 61095

AC-7a are for slightly inductive loads for household appliances for example mixers and blenders.

AC-7b are for motor loads for household appliances such as fans and central vacuum.

Note: The following iCT contactors do not have a AC-7b rating and are not suitable for use in motor control applications:

• A9C22824
• A9C20882
• A9C22722
• A9C20884
