Yes , it is possible.
In Control Expert application, in the PRM general settings:
Option "Create an entry for this device name in DHCP server" and "backup the PRM configuration in FDR server on download" must be checked and well configured.
Then the following steps must be performed to replace properly the PRM :
1- Remove the PRM module to be replaced
2-Take a new PRM:
- Set its lower rotary switch in 'E' position ( Configuration file deletion) in order to clear existing configuration file
- Power up the new PRM and wait for the PRM boot completion, then power off the PRM module
- Check the positions of the rotary switch of the old PRM module and set the rotary switch of the new PRM identically.
- Power up the PRM on the same location as the old one
The new PRM will boot and take its configuration file from the FDR server.
