My Smart UPS Modular Ultra UPS runtime did not update immediately when inserting a new Battery Module (BM)

Resolution:

No Action is required.

The battery module will be at a different voltage than the batteries installed in the system (battery bus).  The battery module will not connect (close its discharge FET) to the battery bus if the battery module voltage is higher than the battery bus voltage.  This can happen if the system is on battery or if the system is online recharging previously discharged batteries.  When connected to AC, the system will eventually charge the battery bus to the level of the new battery module.  At that point, the new battery module will connect, and the runtime will update accordingly.
