Vice President – Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations (India), Schneider Electric 

Anshum Jain serves as Vice President – Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations (India) at Schneider Electric, where he leads the company’s manufacturing and supply chain strategy across the region. His responsibilities include driving operational efficiency, enhancing supply chain resilience, and supporting long-term transformation initiatives. 

With close to three decades of experience in global manufacturing and operations, he has held leadership roles across multiple international organisations. At Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, he served as Chief Operating Officer, where he led initiatives focused on performance improvement and sustainability.

Prior to that, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at WIRTGEN Group, contributing to the development of robust operational systems and leadership capabilities. 

His previous roles include General Manager – Operations at Terex Corporation, overseeing end-to-end manufacturing with P&L responsibility, and Manager – Operations at MTU, where he worked on program and process design for large-scale industrial operations. 

Mr. Jain’s expertise spans manufacturing strategy, supply chain optimisation, financial turnaround, and large-scale digital transformation. 

He holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA in Organizational Development from Wayne State University, with a concentration in Business Management.
