After a crash, please perform following steps:
- Power cycle crash PLC once only
- Connect with Unity Pro
- Use "Tech Support" button to open Diagnostic Wizard screen
- Check PLC application box and choose a destination folder
- After pressing ok, a new file called "DiagFiles_*.std" is created in selected folder
- Send the crash log file to Tech Support for investigation
- Validate the file before sending to Tech Support.
Refer the attached video for more details. To check the validity of the crash file open the extracted *.std file in notepad
and search for the word “GO” or “END”, if its found then only the file is a valid crash log file for further analysis.
