Yes, it is necessary to disconnect the micrologic before going for insulation or dielectric test on ACB.
The reason is that with LR plug is connected to the Micrologic, it makes internal connections between PCB
inside the Micrologic, whereas with the LR plug is disconnected; it disconnects PCBS inside the Micrologic.
If the Dielectric test is done with the LR plug connected, the high voltage value will damage the micrologic.
Due to same reason there is self-stick warning label on the Micrologic.
