The PRM module is a FDR-compliant device & supports faulty device replacement. For using this service some specific settings are required in the Unity Pro PRM DTM configuration:
ā¢ The DHCP / FDR server must be activated in the PLC Ethernet module scanning the PRM.
ā¢ The configuration file of the PRM module must be automatically stored in the FDR server on download.
ā¢ The IP address setting of the PRM module must be in DHCP mode instead of the Stored mode. A Role Name, based on the setting of the rotary switches (Rotary switches setting) will be assigned to the PRM module.
ā¢ An entry must be created for the PRM in the DHCP server
