Yes. PowerLogic ION7550/7650 meter has an Internal battery, it is a lithium battery with a rated voltage of 3.3 Volts. In the absence of auxiliary power to the meter this battery is responsible for maintaining the meter's real-time clock and providing a backup power to the non-volatile memory. Regarding the life of the battery (Please see the attachment), if the meter is powered continuously, the battery should last 20 years or more. If the meter is not powered, the battery will last a minimum of 7 years at room temperature.
