The ATS48 use the MODBUS RTU protocol, it can not communicate directly on Modbus plus.
Perhaps, it is possible to find a bridge MODBUS / MODBUS PLUS ,BM85 bridge multiplexer (MODICON) for MODBUS networks.Refer the attached documentation on below link:
