Is it possible to ignore SLF (Serial link fault) on Altistart 48 soft starter.
The CMI.NTO bit (W402:X14), active at 1, can be used to inhibit communication control.
If NTO = 1, the starter no longer takes account of communication errors coming from the RS485 serial link (Modbus link), and the SLF fault never appears.
Note: For obvious Safety reasons, use of the NTO bit should be reserved for the debug phase or for special applications. But obviously, it is not recommend to use it on an application. The best way is to check why SLF fault happens.
