Which one is better between Line Choke & DC choke when used with Altivar 71 drive.
Choice depends on the environment; dc choke is very good on harmonics H5 and H7.
AC choke very good on harmonics > = H9
But both ac and dc choke, it is used to reduce harmonic distortion of the current produced by the drive.
A line choke can be used to provide improved protection against overvoltage on the line supply.
