The “Stop and Go” function is available for Altivar Process (ATV6xx) sizes 4 to 7.

With this function, the Altivar process (ATV6xx) drive switches off (1) the Power section, (2) Fans, and (3) the Backlight of the Graphic keypad.

There is DC bus voltage control to avoid waste of energy on the power part when the drive is in stop mode (on size 1, 2 &3) there is a patent on S4 and above to decrease DC bus according to input thyristors management.

This function could be activated or not, and time could be adjusted.

This function is compatible with all applications when the reactivation of the power to run the motor could wait around 0,5s (depend on the power of the drive, which can be from 1 to 2s), this time is to recover DC bus nominal voltage.
It is possible to enable/disable the function.
