Regarding motor Choke VW3 A5 103, the temperature of motor choke depends of the ambient temperature, motor current, PWM frequency etc….
Motor choke used on the condition specifies at catalog can works on the range (-10°C to 50°C).
The temperature of motor choke can increase at 50°C ambient up to 120 degree centigrade (worst case).
The thermal switch is advice to connect it for protecting itself and assure is longevity (and for not overheat it and burn it).
Trip in fault at 125°C by the thermal switch (Thermal protection by temperature-controlled switch).
Note: temperature-controlled switch contact should be connected in the sequence (controlling the line contactor).
