Is it required to install a battery in front of MiCOM P122 relay.

The MiCOM P120, P121, P122 & P123 relays starting from Hardware 5, there is no need of battery in the front of the relay. Indeed, disturbance, fault and event records are stored on a flash memory card that doesn’t need to be backed up by a battery.

Is it required to install a battery in front of MiCOM P122 relay.
