The rated nominal current at control terminal of Lexium 32 Servo Drives is less then or equal to 1 Amp. This current is also includes the brake operation of motor. While selecting the SMPS following things needs to be confirm:
- The +24VDC controller supply must meet the requirements of IEC 61131-2 (PELV standard power supply unit)
- Maximum Voltage supplied by the SMPS must not increase greater then 29VDC.
- If a motor with holding brake is connected, the 24 Vdc controller supply must be adjusted according to the connected motor type, the motor cable length and the cross section of the wires for the holding brake. Refer the attached image.
