The programming switches of the I/O units are used to determine
the unit address and trip relay function.
The system accommodates up to 16 I/O units. Eight addresses are
reserved for each protection zone:
• Zone 1 addresses 0…7
• Zone 2 addresses 8…15
• Zone 3 addresses 16…23
• Zone 4 addresses 24…31
