Is it possible to disable one Ethernet port of Advantys Network Module STB NIP2311.
However, to prevent the unauthorize access we can use online Protection Feature. The protection feature is available only in online mode (when the active .isl file in the Advantys Configuration Software is connected to a physical Island).
To enable online protection for the physical Island follow the below steps:
1. On the Online menu, click Protect.
2. Enter a password.
3. Click OK.
The Protect command enables and disables the feature. When protection is applied, a check mark appears in the box next to the command in the menu.
